Not only did Kunimitsu come into a new light as someone who is still torn between her conscience and her revenge, but the Black Pheasants came into their own as total fiends! Killing Kanzashi like that: Her last words and subsequent funeral were very touching, as well. I look forward to what happens next with great anticipation! What to do, what to do!
Three chapters in, and already the quality of writing has improved drastically. This is quite an enjoyable tale that you've spun, and the premise is quite refreshing compared to what I normally read in Tekken fanfiction. I particularly liked the explanation of why Kunimitsu was a guy in Tekken 1 but a girl in Tekken 2. At first I suspected Kunimitsu might be under the employ of the Black Pheasants as a means to an end, but I guess that theory is out the window! This lady Dokuja seems like an interesting character, and hopefully she'll make a good main villain for this story.
And look, Kunimitsu saves the day! But how long will that last? Sure, there are some strange parts like when the scene suddenly changes a paragraph later, but that can easily be overlooked by how much care you put into grammar.
I like the dream sequence very much: The ending where Kunimitsu returns and becomes torn inside is also great, and displays a likewise sense of misgiving.
