Testing ended the first week of August with both athletes scoring their personal bests of the summer. She is currently ranked in the top 10 year olds in the nation and will compete the 2nd weekend of October to be on the TOPS National Team. The best 8 to 10 year old athletes in the country performed both physical abilities and skill routines for the National Team Staff. Our own Ryan Geismar competed in the 10 year old division. Starting on beam dance, she crushed her 1st event.
She performed her skill set with confidence and poise. Though she had a few mistakes as the day progressed, she rallied back strong ending on beam acro with a stuck dismount. She concluded her testing on Saturday morning hitting personal best scores on presses, rope climb, handstand hold and sprints.
When asked about her experience, she said that although it was a lot of hard work, she enjoyed the journey. The weekend consisted of a day of preliminary competition and then a day of competing in the finals where all 4 competed all their Elite routines and placed very well. The Level 3 athletes had a tough weekend overall, but at the end of the meet, everyone had qualified to North State.
The rest of the team is comprised of Paige M.
The Level 5 team showed up this weekend ready to compete. B division led the team winning a 1st place title on beam, a silver on bars and a bronze in AA.

Kiersten T earned top 10 on vault and beam and AA. The Level 4P athletes had a rough start on beam, but stayed optimistic. C division, Shaelyn H. B division, Alexa L. B placed top 10 on bars. Led by Brynlee S. Ladies in the Sr C3 division started our weekend off. Shaelyn also placed 3rd All Around and top 5 on vault, bars and floor. Sydney also took top 5 on beam and All Around.
